At Banaras Boat Trip, we understand that travel plans can change. To maintain clear and transparent booking conditions, the following Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all boat bookings.

1. Confirmed Bookings

Once a booking has been successfully paid and confirmed, the booking amount is non-refundable.

Customers are requested to carefully check the booking date, time, boat type, number of passengers, and other details before completing payment.

2. Refund Policy

Normal Boat

No refund will be provided after the booking has been confirmed.

Light Motor Boat

No refund will be provided after the booking has been confirmed.

Traditional Bajra Boat

Traditional Bajra Boat bookings are the only exception to the general no-refund policy.

A maximum of 25% of the booking amount may be refunded in case of an eligible cancellation.

The remaining 75% of the booking amount is non-refundable.

Dev Deepawali Boat Bookings

All Dev Deepawali boat bookings are non-refundable after confirmation, unless Banaras Boat Trip is unable to provide the booked service and decides to offer a refund or alternative arrangement.

3. No-Show

No refund will be provided if a customer:

• Does not arrive for the scheduled boat trip.
• Arrives too late to board the boat.
• Misses the boat due to personal reasons.
• Leaves the boarding point before the scheduled departure.

4. Weather & Service Disruption

Boat services may be affected by adverse weather, river conditions, government restrictions, safety concerns, technical issues, or other operational circumstances.

If Banaras Boat Trip is unable to provide the booked service due to such circumstances, we may offer:

• Rescheduling of the booking, or
• A refund, where applicable and at the discretion of Banaras Boat Trip.

5. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved:

• The refund will be processed within 2–7 business days after confirmation.
• The refund will normally be credited to the original payment method.
• Any refund amount will be calculated according to this policy.

6. Booking Modifications

Requests to change the booking date, time, boat type, or passenger details are subject to availability and operational feasibility.

A modification is not guaranteed and does not automatically make the booking refundable.

7. Important Notice

By completing a booking with Banaras Boat Trip, you acknowledge and agree that:

Immediate Cancellation or 48 Hours or More Before the Scheduled Service:

Once your booking is confirmed, no refund will be provided except for eligible Traditional Bajra Boat cancellations, where a maximum refund of 25% of the booking amount may apply.

Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before the Scheduled Service:

No refund will be applicable.
